Mistakes Galore: Super Bowl XXVII

Super Bowl XXVII was an exciting game played between the Dallas Cowboys and the Buffalo Bills. The final score was 52-17 with the Cowboys taking home the gold. This Super Bowl was played in Pasadena, California at the Rose Bowl Stadium. The referee for the game was Dick Hantak and there were around 98, 374 people in attendance for this exciting game on January 31, 1993.

The Dallas Cowboys went down in history during this Super Bowl because they scored a record of nine turnovers. They also had a record of four interceptions and even lost five fumbles. The MVP of Super Bowl XXVII was Troy Aikman, quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys at the time. He ended up completing 22 out of 30 passes for 273 yards and four touchdowns.

During halftime of Super Bowl XXVII Michael Jackson started a new trend, from here on out it would be all about getting top artists to perform at Super Bowl during halftime. This was to hopefully attract even more viewers to the Super Bowl each and every year. During Super Bowl XXVII there were around 90.99 million viewers and the cost of a 30 second commercial was around $850,000!
