Every year the NFL allocates tickets for fans that can be obtained through an official lottery process. If you follow the tips and instructions below you will increase your chances of a successful drawing entry.
The important tip is to follow the process exactly as they ask you below, otherwise your entry will not qualify for the drawing and you will not have the opportunity to purchase tickets.
Super Bowl 2013 Lottery / Drawing Instructions
- Super Bowl Ticket Entry Dates: between February 1 and June 1, 2012 (The year prior to the game).
- Ticket requests must be sent via “certified or registered mail”. Winners of the NFL Lottery will have the opportunity to purchase (2) two tickets to the Super Bowl in New Orleans, LA.
- All lottery / drawing entries must contain your:
- Full Name
- Address
- City, State, Zip,
- Phone
- Email.

NFL Lottery Drawing Notes: only one request per household address will qualify. All multiple household requests will be disqualified.
Whether you win or lose the lottery, you will receive a notification via USPS regular mail in October or November as to the status of your drawing request, if you are lucky, the letter will explain how to purchase two Super Bowl tickets.
American With Disabilities Act Entries: Same as above but with these stipulations:
You will have the opportunity to purchase one (1) wheelchair and one (1) companion game ticket.
ADA Request Notes: individuals who have a disability will require them to sit in a designated wheelchair and companion section, specially designated seats. The NFL reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against NFL fans who fraudulently obtain wheelchair and companion seats, this is a serious matter.
