Great Super Bowl 50 Bars to Visit After Purchasing Super Bowl Tickets

What are you doing after the Super Bowl? If you have some spare time between your Super Bowl Party, your departure flight, and your victory celebrations, try one of the local Santa Clara locations to celebrate the Super Bowl! Even if your team lost (or didn’t even make it to the playoffs) you’ll be able to find sympathetic support in other like-minded fans.

After Super Bowl 50, while you’re still local, take the opportunity to watch all the Super Bowl ads on your phone that you didn’t get to see while you were at the game. Post game plans will give you the opportunity to get to know the people you met during the game, and continue the conversations!

If you’re near Levi’s Stadium, here’s our top five best bars for post-Super Bowl 50 festivities:

Characters

Don’t overlook hotel bars, if you’re looking for a place to go after all that historic football. Before the big parties start, try this place right by Levi’s Stadium. The Characters Bar inside the Santa Clara Mariott is a decent option. Watch replays of the great plays of the game you missed because you were on your phone trying to take a photo of you with this crazy fan you’ve met. They’ve got grub as well, if you start to getting the munchies.

By-Th’-Bucket Bar and Grill

It’s been open almost as long as the Super Bowl. That’s some history! By-Th’-Bucket Bar and Grill has a nice, hometown feel, and lots of screen to watch post-game recaps. It’s a good place to catch sit back and try one of their signature cocktails. Their cioppino comes well recommended, if you’re hungry after all that excitement. In other news, apparently they just got a gelato case, if you’ve got a major sweet tooth.

Normandy House Lounge

It’s a hangout for 49ers fans usually, but they’ll probably make way for the huge influx of Super Bowl aficionados in the San Francisco 49ers territory. They’ve got lots of old school games to play (pool tables) as well as a old-school arcade section. If you feel like trying your skills against another football fan who’s just one-upped your team, get your revenge in a nice game of air-hockey.

Woodhams Sports Lounge

It might be a dive bar. Bu who doesn’t love jukebox and good ol’ karaoke? Doesn’t that sound good? Woodhams Sports lounge is a pretty inexpensive place with good bartenders and a good crowd. Keep up the Super Bowl momentum by being a part of the atmosphere! New places are always worth a try on the off chance you could find a true favorite worth the trip down, or over, depending on where you’ve traveled from.

Evolution Cafe and Bar

San Francisco is becoming known for it’s tech market. This bar caters more toward that crowd. It’s a nicer bar with a “techie” vibe. Evolution Cafe and Bar is a bit more sophisticated than the regular joint, but it’s a good place for Santa Clara nightlife in general. On Super Bowl Sunday, you can bet it’s going to be nuts! They have ten draft beers on tap as well as good shrimp tacos. Tacos sounds good. And now we’re hungry just thinking about it.
