With the Tennessee Titans trading the #1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft to the St. Louis Rams, its worth reviewing some of the trades that have happened at the top of the draft in the past. The history of trading up for the #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft is not always one of beauty. From perennial disappointments to all-out disasters, the #1 pick has proven to be that of both a blessing–and sometimes a curse.

HBO’s Hard Knocks and the NFL

The NFL and HBO team up once again for the 2016 season to bring “Hard Knocks” to TVs nationwide. The show, created in 2001, follows a designated NFL team during the training camp portions of the offseason, detailing practices, team meetings and even roster decisions, such as trade announcements or roster cuts. And in 2016, the series is headed to document the Los Angeles Rams’ first offseason after returning to LA.
